Good food is important to good nutrition, but it’s not the whole story. I practice a flexible, holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all the areas of your life are connected.

My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or “good” or “bad” foods. Rather, it is holistic, inclusive and flexible. We’ll look at ways that you can eat cleaner and create healthy meals for yourself and your family. I help you find the food that’s right for you and incorporate it into your daily life in a way that’s flexible and fun.

We’ll also review the other areas of your life that could be holding you back from being as healthy and happy as you can be. For many people, healthy relationships, regular physical exercise, spiritual awareness and fulfilling work are nearly as important as what we put into our bodies.

IINPlate_1201022The concept of bio-individuality – the idea that no two people’s nutritional needs are alike, but are instead unique to individual metabolism, lifestyle preferences, background and genetic makeup — is integral to my practice. I find that clients who come to me for help with diet find that the answer to their questions lies in this holistic approach, which can help alleviate diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, obesity, headache, migraines, chronic pain, body image and metabolism.

As we work together, you’ll learn how to achieve and maintain ideal weight and how to reduce addictive cravings. You’ll increase your energy and learn about how food affects mood. And you may discover patterns from your past that are affecting your ability to move forward into the future.
